Steampunk/Butterfly research

For my steampunk butterfly I need to incorporate steampunk elements into the butterfly like such:

Like what's seen on the pictures steampunk is suppose to be a gear spin on the Victorian era with lots of goggles, gears, and watches. The steampunk spider below I like for it's wireframe instead of a solid build and on the top picture I really love the use of bulky junk objects that just all meld together.
